Introducing the newTeam Member at RFS;Parker Cline – Sales and Service Manager Due the increase in demand for RFS products, specifically RFS Floor Joist and Steel Framing systems, Parker has joined the team at RFS to provide support to our existing customers and clients while fostering growth for the business nationally. Parker arrives at RFS with a long history in the construction industry both in NZ and North America. Born in Germany, Parker was raised in the rural state of Oklahoma in America. Being part of a farming and building family he spent summer school breaks working for his uncle’s construction company which gave him the base for his passion for building. He went on the complete a carpentry apprenticeship in early 1993 and celebrated the accomplishment with a rugby playing O.E. to New Zealand. Since then Parker has continued to develop as a building professional having been involved in numerous commercial and residential projects with experience in the construction of MRI units, a geodesic dome house, and a custom stage extension for Carnegie Hall in New York City to name just a few. Having immigrated to New Zealand in April of 2001, Parker went to work for Aspec Construction in Auckland as a Site Manager. As we all know this was a very busy period in the development of New Zealand as a whole and spent four busy years with Aspec contributing to the company’s success in the ability to deliver quality projects within budget and on time. In 2005 Parker spread his wings on the back of an invitation to go into construction material sales. In that time he has been a proven performer in the long run roofing and commercial access solutions industry. While there are plenty of challenges that lie ahead, Parker’s commitment to ensure mutually beneficial relationships and high standard of customer service see him well placed to assist Todd and the team at RFS in achieving their goals.
