When the NZ Police refurbished their Wellington building into a new training centre, Rollforming Services’ Telescopic Framing was an obvious choice for fast and accurate bathroom framing.
The NZ Police recently undertook a refurbishment of their building in Prosser Street, Wellington, readying it for use as a Police Training Centre.
As part of the renovation, new bathrooms were to be added, with walls and ceiling panels required for the project.
Rollforming Services and their Telescopic Framing was an obvious choice for the project - thanks to its fast, zero waste, easy installation.
The Howick X-TENDATM 3600 produced 16,000 metres of Telescopic Framing for the project in days, in their Auckland factory. It was quickly compacted, bundled, and flat packed for easy transport to Wellington, and made for easy manoeuvring onsite once it arrived.
Every component was telescopic, so there was no need for the contractor to cut or measure onsite; they could simply extend the framing components to precisely fit any space in seconds. Time onsite, labour hours, and waste were significantly cut, reducing project costs and speeding up the construction process.
